I like how you used darker shadings around the whole piece. It really complements the mood you are trying to get across. Despite the background being in slightly less detail than the focal point, it also adds to the mood you want to convey. That little comment on the background is pretty minor considering that it made me look more to Ludwig than at the back ground. Ludwig's face is pure perfection in this piece you can see the conflicted emotions in his eyes. Everything from the shape of his face to art style you used is perfect for what you were trying to get across. I think it's absolutely wonderful! Amazing job!
